Covid-19 School Closing

In response to the order by Governor Henry McMaster, all schools in SC will be closed and all school-related activities suspended until at least March 31, 2020. 



Students who have a device and access to WIFI may choose the eLearning option at . Students who have never logged in will have to select their school. The student will then be prompted to enter their district username and password. Once student is logged in they will need to click on Edmentum and choose Learning Path on the left side.

Print packets of learning materials will be available for K-5 students without devices. Links to packets can be found on the district website as well as the Ford homepage. Printed packets are available at the school.

REPORT CARDS will not be distributed on Friday, March 20th. We will provide information at a later date regarding the plan for report card distribution. If you should have any questions, please contact your child’s school between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. To ensure that learning continues during this time, please utilize the eLearning assignments, learning packets, and other assignments that have been provided.

IEP/504 meetings will be suspended. Team leads (for IEPs) and school counselors (for 504s) will reschedule meetings when schools are reopened.

FREE GRAB & GO MEALS will be distributed to those 18 years of age or younger during the school closure as follows:
Lunch (and breakfast for the next day) 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. At every school location in the car drop-off line.
In addition, beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020, LCSD 55 will be delivering meals by bus and serving meals at several other locations. For the bus schedules and a list of other locations, go to:
